Paul Scholes and The Definition of Football Genius

If you're a fans of United, you perhaps (or must) know that United's biggest weakness is the lack of creative force in midfield area, after the retirement of Paul Scholes, and the injury crisis that plagued United's squad. United seems lost the creative force that earlier this season when they thrashed Arsenal and Bolton respectively. They put Rooney, and even Berbatov as a central midfielder to add some creativity in United. Well, you know the result, Sir Alex only got 2 option, buy a new player, or bring back the real brain in United's midfield since 1995.

So, why Fergie choose the latter option?

Paul Scholes is more than an ordinary midfielder, He's a football genius. You know, it takes a great deal of talent to become a football superstar, but you cant just have talent to become a football genius, you need personality, determination, composure, and a wee bit of generosity, then Voila! If you got all that particular skills than you've become Paul Scholes!

Can he do some crazy tricks? Ronaldo's stepover? Messi's dribbling? Ibra's skill? Barton aggresiveness? No (although he got a wee bit of Barton on his tackling). But he can do any type of pass, whether it is long pass, through balls, crossing, he can do anything about pass with 100% accuracy, and yet he can score goals too! Look at his statistics, 482 league appearances, 106 goals. Pretty cool for a central midfielder.

Even the likes of Xavi, Bobby Charlton, Zidane, they all said that He is one of the greatest midfield players (if not the best) ever grace the football field.

"A role model. For me, and I really mean this, he's the best central midfielder I've seen in the last 15, 20 years. He's spectacular, he has it all, the last pass, goals, he's strong, he doesn't lose the ball, vision. If he'd been Spanish he might have been rated more highly. Players love him." -Xavi

So, Still clueless why Fergie choose to revive his career?
