THE DARK KNIGHT RISES: MOVIE REVIEW

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES: MOVIE REVIEW

The final saga of The Dark Trilogy is really lives up to the expectations… well, kinda.”

To be honest, there are only two movies that I was very much waiting for, Avengers and Dark Knight Rises. I mean, who don’t? Avengers with their ambitious project, and TDKR with Nolan, and… well its Nolan’s.
I’ll talk about Avengers later. The Dark knight rises is your typical Nolan movies. Puzzling yet fascinating. The way the characters introduced and developed (mainly Bane, John Blake, and Selina Kyle) is just brilliant, while other supporting roles such as Jim Gordon, Alfred, and Lucius also have their own moment to shine.
Also, the most impressive things about TDKR, is how Bruce Wayne overcome his fear, his pain, and rises from ashes to save Gotham from chaos caused by League Of Shadow. Such a strong performance from Christian Bale who inspire us to believe in ourselves and to overcome our own fear.
There’s no perfect movie, every movie from Citizen Kane to The Godfather to The Shawshank Redemption have some mistake. TDKR have mistakes too, a lot more than its predecessor (TDK not Batman Begins). Such as Bane’s fate, Tate-Thalia twist, and for some people, the ending (which is also your typical Nolan movies ending) is makes us think even after leaving the Theater. Is he still alive? Or is it just Alfred’s hallucination?
Credits must go to the one-of-only Christopher Nolan who can revive this franchise from ashes and rises to become one of the greatest movie trilogy ever been created. I think, although the movie itself is not as good as The Dark Knight, but it is still a good movie and a fitting end to close this glorious trilogy.

“You die as a trilogy, or live long enough to see yourself become Batman and Robin.”

FINAL SCORE: 9/10
BATMAN BEGINS: 7/10
THE DARK KNIGHT: 10/10
TRILOGY SCORE: 10/10

Paul Scholes and The Definition of Football Genius

If you're a fans of United, you perhaps (or must) know that United's biggest weakness is the lack of creative force in midfield area, after the retirement of Paul Scholes, and the injury crisis that plagued United's squad. United seems lost the creative force that earlier this season when they thrashed Arsenal and Bolton respectively. They put Rooney, and even Berbatov as a central midfielder to add some creativity in United. Well, you know the result, Sir Alex only got 2 option, buy a new player, or bring back the real brain in United's midfield since 1995.

So, why Fergie choose the latter option?

Paul Scholes is more than an ordinary midfielder, He's a football genius. You know, it takes a great deal of talent to become a football superstar, but you cant just have talent to become a football genius, you need personality, determination, composure, and a wee bit of generosity, then Voila! If you got all that particular skills than you've become Paul Scholes!

Can he do some crazy tricks? Ronaldo's stepover? Messi's dribbling? Ibra's skill? Barton aggresiveness? No (although he got a wee bit of Barton on his tackling). But he can do any type of pass, whether it is long pass, through balls, crossing, he can do anything about pass with 100% accuracy, and yet he can score goals too! Look at his statistics, 482 league appearances, 106 goals. Pretty cool for a central midfielder.

Even the likes of Xavi, Bobby Charlton, Zidane, they all said that He is one of the greatest midfield players (if not the best) ever grace the football field.

"A role model. For me, and I really mean this, he's the best central midfielder I've seen in the last 15, 20 years. He's spectacular, he has it all, the last pass, goals, he's strong, he doesn't lose the ball, vision. If he'd been Spanish he might have been rated more highly. Players love him." -Xavi

So, Still clueless why Fergie choose to revive his career?

Chasing Barcelona

Barcelona-vs-AC-Milan

Yang menampilkan jagoan saya, “The Sickman of Europe” AC Milan vs “The Best Team in The World” FC Barcelona.

Lalu, bagaimana cara mengalahkan mereka?

But, nonetheless, Barca masih belum menunjukkan hal-hal tersebut. Kita tunggu saja!
