THE DARK KNIGHT RISES: MOVIE REVIEW
“The final saga of The
Dark Trilogy is really lives up to the expectations… well, kinda.”
To be honest, there are only two movies that I was very much
waiting for, Avengers and Dark Knight Rises. I mean, who don’t? Avengers with
their ambitious project, and TDKR with Nolan, and… well its Nolan’s.
I’ll talk about Avengers later. The Dark knight rises is
your typical Nolan movies. Puzzling yet fascinating. The way the characters
introduced and developed (mainly Bane, John Blake, and Selina Kyle) is just
brilliant, while other supporting roles such as Jim Gordon, Alfred, and Lucius
also have their own moment to shine.
Also, the most impressive things about TDKR, is how Bruce
Wayne overcome his fear, his pain, and rises from ashes to save Gotham from
chaos caused by League Of Shadow. Such a strong performance from Christian Bale
who inspire us to believe in ourselves and to overcome our own fear.
There’s no perfect movie, every movie from Citizen Kane to
The Godfather to The Shawshank Redemption have some mistake. TDKR have mistakes
too, a lot more than its predecessor (TDK not Batman Begins). Such as Bane’s
fate, Tate-Thalia twist, and for some people, the ending (which is also your
typical Nolan movies ending) is makes us think even after leaving the Theater.
Is he still alive? Or is it just Alfred’s hallucination?
Credits must go to the one-of-only Christopher Nolan who can
revive this franchise from ashes and rises to become one of the greatest movie
trilogy ever been created. I think, although the movie itself is not as good as
The Dark Knight, but it is still a good movie and a fitting end to close this
glorious trilogy.
“You die as a trilogy, or live long enough to
see yourself become Batman and Robin.”
FINAL SCORE: 9/10
BATMAN BEGINS: 7/10
THE DARK KNIGHT: 10/10
TRILOGY SCORE: 10/10
